Weekend Family Fun

We had a terrific weekend last, doing all sorts of cool family stuff. So, without further delay - here is the gallery of our adventures: BugFest at the Museum of Natural Science, Street Art at Moore Square, and Family Wii night. It was really fun running into old friends from elementary and high school, and several church friends as well.

Erika Saves the Flea Circus!! (for once, she gets called to volunteerhood and embarrasment instead of me)

The Hoola-Hoops were a huge hit, and there was a funky set of drummers off to the side providing some great bohemian rhythyms. Regan was much more cheerful after she had some lunch.

StreetArt was amazing, there were a lot of really impressive street drawings - including one by Amber Bailey. The kids had a blast with the moustache making, and the pastel drawing. Of course, pastels can be deadly on clothes and basically anything it touches. We must have used 100 wet wipes trying to get everything cleaned off hands and faces!

The girls absolutely love Rayman Raving Rabbids 2, and all of the silly games. Miles was hilarious just kicking back against the cushion with a remote in his hand.

That was a busy and fun day.

  1. How fun guys! Nice hula hooping everyone and nice mustache Rich! It reminded me of the Purple Pie Man from the Strawberry Shortcake cartoon from the 80's. Remember that Erika? Love the Street Art Transfer on Miles' little tush. SO cute!

  4. FUN! Bee guy- creepy scary. And is that hula hoop huge or what?! Looks like a good time. Some other folks we know were at the same activities and posted very similar pictures on their blog. It was funny to see. And yes, we need to get ourselves to Cary and see you all. ;)
