Last weekend we transformed our place into the House of Rock! For several months now, we've been talking with a few friends about a Rock Band get together at our place. We had a few warm up gigs, and this past Saturday we had the big show. We sent the kids off for movie night at Bud and Gwen's house, and prepared to receive our rock stars. And they did not disappoint!
I had picked up Rock Band 2 for the Wii, and extra guitar, mic stand, and some awesome effects from my brother Ron. (light machine, fog machine) Here is a short video and some great pictures of the rock stars in action.
Everyone is demanding a reunion tour sometime in the near future, so I'm sure that our neighbors will have another chance to file a noise disturbance. Rock on!
Awesome!!!! I wish i was there. You guys went all out!!! The effects were great!
ReplyDeleteOh, man and how awesome it was. We had the best time. Thanks again for the "rockin" party. We are suffering withdrawals already. Yeah, your neighbors had to wonder what was going on with the strobe lights upstairs! lol. It was definitely the House of Rock. Also the smoke machine was SWEEEEEET!
ReplyDeleteLet me know when you are ready to do another Goodwill Run Erika!! :D
how fun that you guys still get to hang out and do crazy things together like no time has ever gone by. your costumes were killer! especially the crimped hair and zebra print on heather. SWEET!
