What a Week!

As I pick up pirate eye patches, wizards capes, trucks, and other debris from a day filled with kids I am tempted to feel frustrated and just plain tired of the wash, rinse, repeat of being a mama. But then I'll come across one of the pictures that the kids have drawn or remember something sweet that they said and it makes all of the work and worry worthwhile.

We have been sick around here all week. The kind of sick that makes you never want to leave the house again because of the germs. Fevers, sore throats, runny noses, coughs, chills....it has been a rough few days. I will be so glad when Rich's plane touches down again late tonight and we can all be together again this weekend. This has been the kind of week that makes you appreciate feeling healthy! We don't have plans this weekend, and for that I'm just so glad. It will be nice to have a few days to catch up.
